Jessica J. Lee

Humanities, York University

This is a space in which I am testing out ideas, thoughts, and fragments of work for my doctoral dissertation on Hampstead Heath, nature, and environmental aesthetics. Feel free to get in touch – with queries, thoughts, or comments. Former predoctoral research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Berlin. Currently a visiting scholar at the Royal College of Art, London.

Working primarily in the environmental humanities, my research interests include environmental aesthetics, environmental history, multi-species ethnography, and new materialism. My supervisory committee are Joan Steigerwald, Catriona Sandilands, and Ann B. Shteir.
